Alden

Mr. Alden! Alden is my partner Beth’s (from Melissa & Beth) little guy! He looks just like his mama which is of course as cute as can be. His big brother Cale is pretty excited to have him around…and I can’t wait to see how they grow up and play together. How fun to have a brother to be your best friend. Another one of my favorite things about being a mommy is listening to how my kids interact with each other. Having three there are three very different dynamics…well four really. When Gus and Lucy are together things are pretty calm…they don’t need much from me any more…they have more “grown up” conversations about school and friends. When Gus and Finley are together it is full on play…outside running, farming, “hunting”, drawing trucks, etc. When Lucy and Finley are together it is very girl like…drawing, crafts, pretend play, school, dolls,and so on. And when all three are together it is pretty much craziness! I love it though…especially when I hear Lucy say to Finley “We are so lucky to have each other”. Or when Lucy gets two stuffed animals together and offers one to Fin…and Fin says to Lucy “Lucy…you really love your bear right…then I will take the dog”. Or when Gus rushes inside to tell me that one of the girls has fallen and they need help now…with the most concerned look on his face. I am one lucky mama.

I am so excited that Beth gets to experience all these things with her boys too!
