Christmas Ornament Tradition
Each year I love adding to our Christmas Ornament Tradition. I had a wonderful lady Anita Nigro tell me how she bought ornaments for her kids each year so when they moved out they would have their own for their new tree. Of course I thought she was brilliant and I took it on as a tradition for us as well. Each kiddo has their own “theme”…but you could do it like Anita did and find an ornament that represented something special from the year.
I have always dedicated my small skinny tree to these ornaments but this year they have moved up to the big tree! AND THEY FILL IT. I’ll admit it makes me sad. Thinking that Gus has 15 ornaments (he will turn 14 this month whhhyyyyy) just blows my mind. How can they be this grown up already. The kids love to get them out and put them on the tree each year. Each year we try to line them all up and make sure they are all there. Each year we have a small panic that we lost one. ha! I try my best to mark each one with the year…but some ornaments are easier than other!
So…here they are. Gosh there are so many now…my babies are not babies any more.
