Meet the most handsome Mr. Everett.  He was the sweetest little guy for his newborn photography session.  Mom was so excited he had so much hair when he arrived…so we did our best to show it off!

Everett’s mommy and daddy wanted simple…unfussy portraits for him.  We skipped the props for this session and spent our time capturing just HIM!

In my studio newborns are in charge.  We cater to their every need.  First the studio is kept very warm in the shooting area…we want the babies to be perfectly content in their birthday suits.  I crank it up and aim for an 80 degree room at all times.  Plus we have a heater that blows warm air on them and they love that!  We take breaks to snuggle if fussy, have a paci close if they take them, also we stop to feed any time they may be hungry.  In most cases I have everything we need to sooth baby and take his portraits.  All I ask mom to bring is the paci and a bottle of milk.  I like to tell parents I am their nanny for the time they are in the studio.  With snacks, drinks, tv, and a comfy couch…my wish is for the parents to get a few hours to relax and catch on some zz’s…or emails…or just their favorite shows.
