We traveled with a big group!  We had 15 of us and it was sooo much fun!  It truly is a great group vacation.  On the mountain you can all go your own ways…then come back together in the evenings to gather around the fire and talk about all the fun that was had that day!  This year we stayed right on the mountain and Winter Park Lodging Company was amazing at helping us find the perfect lodge for the week!

Like I said there were 15 of us!  2 Family’s of 5 and 1 Family of 3 + Both Nana’s came as well!  This home had 4 KING rooms which was perfect for the adults.  Two of those King rooms were Master Suites with large rooms, TV’s and large Bathrooms.  The other two both had bathrooms with showers in the rooms!  You know its so fun to travel with other families…but if you don’t have your own space it could get a little “crowded”.  This house was not that!  There was a bunk room on the lower level with 3 sets of Bunk Beds!  PERFECTION for the 6 kiddos we had with us (minus baby Leo…he hung out with his mama and daddy!).

There were two great living room spaces.  One was perfect for the kids with a game table and big TV and HUGE comfy sofa.  And one that was so beautiful yet so inviting and comfy!

I’m still kicking myself for not getting any good pictures of the kitchen.  It was a dream!  We all brought and cooked a different meal each night of our stay and each morning for breakfast, cooking for and with a group is hard enough…if the kitchen is small it is miserable.  Cooking in this kitchen was a joy…and it was sooo hard to leave!  All of the cooking utensils, pans, crock pots, etc. we needed were there!

This wonderful home also had a garage big enough to fit all THREE of our vehicles.  Which was amazing since we got snow every single day we were there!

Winter Park Lodging has a wonderful app as well!  They sent us all the check in codes when we arrived, we never had to drive to pick up a key or drop it off.  Saved so much time and head ache after our drive that day.

If you are on the fence on if you should take your family skiing…DO IT!  I am so glad we have started making this a yearly trip…everyone looks forward to it and we only get so many days before these littles grow up!
