I know I say it a lot but I love my job…and I love my clients. So many of my clients are truly amazing at what they do, Charlena of KC THREADS – Kansas City is one of them! Not only is she amazing at her job…but amazing at giving back and spreading the heart of Giving Back to our little ones!
And these are Charlena’s little cuties..perfect models!

Why?
Our mission is to help instill the desire to give back in kids, no matter what age they are. We love that parents already give back on behalf of their children. However, giving back is a learned trait and we are thrilled to unite with families to help kids learn, love and embrace the concept. By putting more emphasis on giving back at an early age we are helping children become more compassionate, understanding and loving individuals now and forever.
How it works
We would love and encourage for you to return your KC Threads apparel back to us within one year (from purchase date), and in wearable condition (see terms on form) with the “The Concept Donation” form. We will donate the returned apparel to local Kansas City children’s organizations on your behalf, and you will receive 10% off your next order.
Hold on, it get’s better…If you would like to include a children’s book or any of the items listed under ‘Donate’ with your return, you will receive a total of 25% off your next order.
BUT, here’s the catch…our mission is to help kids understand giving back and want to so, especially to other kids. We know it’s not going to happen overnight so, we highly encourage you to let your kid(s) in on the deal. Here’s our suggestion- Make it fun and tell them how giving back helps others and let them pack up their apparel, book (if you chose) and anything else they might want to give. One last thing, don’t forget to let them know how proud you are!
Local
Currently, we have one local drop-off location for your KC Threads apparel donation return. Please put your returned apparel and any other donation in a bag along with the “The Concept Donation” form.

- Gently and clean pre-owned toys (from non-smoking homes)

- Coloring books
- Crayons
- Pictures from your kid(s)

Events
Our goal is to be able to hold events to bring kids together and inspire them to give back. We will announce upcoming events through our Instagram account, @kcthreads.
