Today I am sharing Sweet baby girl pictures of Gigi, a Legacy Baby Planner…she comes to visit me for pics three times a year.  Once as a newborn (first 14 days), next as a Sitter (typically 7 1/2 months ish), and One Year.  I often get asked when the best time to take pictures is.  Most want go with the standard Newborn, 6 Months and One Year…however I love to wait a little extra until baby is sitting up well on her own.  This gives us so many more options to use props, sets, and gives us more comfort knowing she is sturdy sitting and less likely to flop backwards.  So what I always suggest and try to lean towards is having parents message me when baby STARTS sitting on their own…in the very beginning before they can “really” do it.  At that time we schedule for about a month out so we know she is sitting very well with more practice.

I love getting to watch the little tinies as they grow.  Babies change so much from that 10 day old newborn to the 7 1/2 month chunky little and then the quick one year old!  First year is so many big changes…capture them all!
